ICHS 150TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS – 2008
Believe it or not, our alma mater will celebrate its 150th birthday in January 2008 and we will mark this achievement with a year-long commemoration. The Planning Committee, chaired by Yasmin Chong (Class of 1977), is already busy with plans for 2008 and we are once again inviting all interested Alumnae to participate in these events.
Plans are to begin the year with a grand 150th Anniversary Mass and Brunch on January 13, 2008 to be followed by monthly events such as the Inaugural ICHS Alumnae Lecture Series, St. Patrick’s Day Supper, the Inaugural ICHS Alumnae Golf Tournament, Poolside Lyme, HOMECOMING WEEK in July (All-years Reunion Dance, Family Fun Day, Talent Show and Concert), Feast of St. Francis Walkathon, Feast Day Dinner & Dance (December 6, 2008) and to end the year, Feast Day Mass at the ICHS Convent Chapel (December 7, 2008). There are other interesting and fun-filled activities which will be announced as soon as they are confirmed with the proposed sponsors.
