I am deeply grateful to all, the many alumnae and friends who have supported, collaborated and shared ideas with us over the past year.  Our year long celebration of our alma mater's 150th Anniversary was spectacular, and a blessing.  A blessing to us all in that it reminds us how fortunate we are to receive  such a special foundation.

As we usher in 2009, the leadership of President Barack Obama, we as a group will redefine  human history.  The economic challenges and global will to survive will bring some of us to our senses, and some of us to our knees.  Let us commit to  be their for each other and our alma mater.

The capital campaign continues, the needs of our school are great and  we must do as much as we can to contribute. Let us take seriously our individual contributions, work shoulder to shoulder to support our school to graduate outstanding women. In doing this we make our world a better place.  As we go, so goes the world, for the world is us.
