Remembrance Walk

Come and join us as we walk the stages of the schools’ history from

76 Duke Street to Alvernia, then from

Mary Brown’s Corner to the Immaculate Conception Convent

SCHEDULE

6:30 a.m. – Buses leave IC Grounds at 152 Constant Spring Road for 76 Duke Street 

Stage 1 Walk: Duke Street to Alvernia (~ 3.4 km/2 miles)

7:00 – 7:30 a.m. –         Gather at 76 Duke Street for reflections and remembrance of the early years

7:30 – 8:30 a.m. –         Walk up Duke Street, Marescaux Road and Tom Redcam Avenue to Alvernia

8:30 – 9:30 a.m. –         Reflections and refreshments/Drinks will be on sale

9:45 a.m. – Buses leave Alvernia grounds for Mary Brown’s Corner

Stage 2 Walk: Mary Brown’s Corner to IC Convent (~ 1.6 km/1 mile)

10:30 a.m. –  Walk up Constant Spring Road from Mary Brown’s Corner to Immaculate Conception Convent

11:00 a.m. – Prayer Service of Thanksgiving at the Convent.

Refreshments will be on sale in the School Cafeteria
